BARB SCHEFFLER (Iowa Housewife; Earth Mother) Barb Scheffler is a Toronto based actor, singer and playwright. For many years she has performed with Mysteriously Yours Theatre and had several of her scripts produced including “ONCE UPON A MURDER” “MURDER AT TWILIGHT” and “NO TIME TO KILL”. She has performed with many theatre companies including the Drayton Festival, The Classic Theatre Festival, Thousand Islands Playhouse and Smile. Her favourite roles include Sister Amnesia in “NUNSENSE 2″, Yum Yum in “THE MIKADO”, Florence Vassy in “CHESS”, Lysistrata in “LYSISTRATA”, Dee Dee in “SUDS”, The Taxidermist in “GET STUFFED, THE MUSICAL”, and Madame Sofronie in Leslie Arden’s “GIFT OF THE MAGI”. She is also a gifted cabaret performer, having toured Ontario with her solo cabaret show “SONGS IN THE KEY OF LOVE” and is one half of the musical duo “THE RECAPS” with Robert Graham, performing hits of the ’60s and ’70s. Barb continues to write and is currently working on turning her award-winning children’s show “PIRATES DON’T BABYSIT!” into a musical. She is also a busy wife and mom to three fabulous kids!
