IN TORONTO, JANET APPEARED IN THE SOUND OF MUSIC FOR THE MIRVISHES, DIRECTED BY JEREMY SAMMS.. ALSO FOR THE MIRVISHES - LES MISERABLES, H.M.S PINATFORE, AND THE MIKADO WHICH ALSO PLAYED ACROSS NORTH AMERICA, INCLUDING BROADWAY. JANET SPENT 7 YEARS WITH THE TORONTO CAST OF PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, WHICH ALSO TOURED HONG KONG AND SINGAPORE. ONE OF THE MANY ROLES SHE PLAYED IN PHANTOM WAS THE COVETED PART OF CHRISTINE DAAE, REPUTEDLY THE LARGEST ROLE EVER WRITTEN FOR A SOPRANO IN MUSICAL THEATRE.
